Hello Downtown Food & Beverage Establishments!

 The DPA is excited to have another opportunity to provide another Downtown Pub Crawl on the Friday of Lentil Festival Eve. The start will be earlier (check in begins at 3:00p) and tickets will stop being accepted at 10pm.

 We have added some fun additions for this crawl! 

  • Including establishments that serve only NA beverages.

  • Including a Lentil Fest themed appetizer special at restaurants.

  • Including $10 coupons for participants to use at retail businesses.

  • Beer Garden on the patio of Porch Light Pizza

  • Live Music!

 The DPA will reimburse participating businesses these amounts for tickets collected:

  • Alcohol beverage ticket: $6

  • NA beverage ticket: $4

  • Appetizer ticket $10

  • Retail coupon $10

  • Server/bartender gratuity of 18% will also be covered separately

 A representative from the DPA will come to your establishment at the time your business stops serving for the crawl and collect all tickets/coupons.  Businesses will receive reimbursement payment from the DPA the following week.

 Would your business like to be included in the crawl?!?!  If the answer is YES, see below what we need from you!

  1. Response to info@downtownpullman.org letting us know your commitment to this event by July 14th.

  2. For businesses serving alcohol: Provide two LENTIL FEST theme named beverages to offer.  Must have a combo of two beverages choosing from wine, beer, and cocktails.  For marketing purposes, the name of the drink you are highlighting must be in theme with the crawl.  For example, if you would like to highlight a Bramble that you have on the menu, no need to change the recipe you normally have, just switch it to “Boogie Bean Bramble.”  If a batched cocktail would be easier to do, maybe you can call it, “Lentilpalooza Punch.”  If you are offering an IPA on tap, you can list it as “Hoppy Lentilution” and then include the name of the actual beer and brewery under it.

    1. Please also indicate if you are able to provide a mocktail (name and description for mocktail not needed)

    2. If you wish to offer more choices for crawlers to choose from, that is great! However, we will only be highlighting the two  drinks requested on our marketing materials.

  3. For businesses serving appetizers/ice cream treats/pastries:  Provide one or two LENTIL FEST theme named food offerings you will have available for crawlers to order. 

  4. The deadline for ALL food and beverage offerings, names, and descriptions will be July 25th.  This is a HARD cut-off date.  Our marketing needs to go to print to allow the appropriate time for advertisement so information received after July 25th will not be included in the crawl marketing.

 Other things to know: 

  1. Registered attendees will check in on Olson street (where the live music will be). DPA volunteers will check IDs to confirm that the participants are 21+ (though you are welcome to recheck), and hand out the crawl packages. It will be up to the attendees to choose where to “spend” their tickets. See additional information below about expected offerings.

  2. If your business has time restrictions and needs to close before 10 p.m. please let us know the time you will close/stop taking crawl tickets so we can add to our marketing.  This is due via email by July 25th as well to info@downtownpullman.com.

  3. We have received feedback from past crawlers that staff at multiple Pub Crawl locations were confused or unaware of the event, the process, or what was available to the crawlers to enjoy.  If committing to this crawl, we ask you ensure that management and all staff are informed and trained of the event, process, and what your establishment has to offer to avoid frustration from those supporting this event.
