2026 downtown art walk

The second annual Downtown Pullman Art Walk brought together local artists, downtown businesses, and community members for a day celebrating creativity in the heart of downtown. 18 downtown businesses hosted artists representing a variety of styles and media, while visitors explored artwork, met artists, and participated in interactive art experiences throughout downtown. Despite rainy weather, the event drew strong community support and highlighted the vibrant arts scene of Pullman and the Palouse region.

Mardi gras celebration

February 12, 2026

The Downtown Mardi Gras Celebration brought festive energy to downtown Pullman, with 28 participating locations offering retail specials, themed drinks, and Mardi Gras beads for visitors to enjoy. More than 2,000 bead necklaces were handed out throughout the event, creating a fun and lively atmosphere while encouraging the community to explore local businesses.

2026 jigsaw puzzle competition

January 24, 2026

The first ever Downtown Pullman Puzzle Competition brought teams together for a fun day of teamwork, problem-solving, and community connection. Hosted across Neill Public Library, Paradise Creek Brewery, and Lumberyard Food Hall, the event welcomed puzzlers of all ages and celebrated friendly competition in downtown Pullman. The fastest team completed their puzzle in just 28 minutes. Special thanks to the City of Pullman Parks & Rec team for supporting registration and to the WSU student volunteers who helped make the event a success.

2025 trick-0r-treat

October 24, 2025

Downtown Trick-or-Treat filled downtown Pullman with Halloween fun, creative costumes, Cougar spirit, and community energy. This special Halloween edition, held in partnership with WSU Pullman First Down Friday, brought together vendors, live music, a costume contest judged by WSU Cougar Athletics athletes, and festive activities for families throughout downtown. The event welcomed more than 1,800 participants, making it one of downtown’s largest community celebrations of the year. Special thanks to our sponsors, participating downtown businesses, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the event a memorable experience for the community.

2025 lentil fest friday

August 15, 2026

Lentil Fest Friday kicked off Lentil Festival weekend with an evening of live music, family-friendly activities, local food, and community celebration in downtown Pullman. Visitors enjoyed face painting, inflatable games, a surprise appearance by Butch, and plenty of opportunities to connect with friends and neighbors. The event also featured the inaugural Lentil Crawl, the first downtown crawl centered on lentil-inspired appetizers and drinks, encouraging attendees to explore participating businesses and sample creative menu offerings.

Pride Window Decorating Contest

June 28, 2025

The Downtown Pullman Pride Window Decorating Contest invited businesses to celebrate Pride Month by filling downtown with color, creativity, and community spirit. Participating storefronts helped create a welcoming and festive atmosphere, and community members voted for their favorite displays. Congratulations to Sugar Babe Bakery, Greystone Grand Gallery, and Lily Bee’s Boutique for placing in the contest, and thank you to everyone who helped celebrate love, inclusion, and downtown Pullman.
