the train mural restoration is complete!
The Downtown Pullman Association is proud to help preserve these iconic pieces of Downtown Pullman history.
A huge thank you to Sarah Barnett, a local artist and WSU art instructor, for bringing new life to these beloved murals with her incredible talent and care!
Originally painted in 1988 by University of Idaho fine arts student Deborah Allen, the locomotive-themed murals on the north and south sides of the Heros N Sports building have been beautifully restored and expanded into postcard-like scenes that celebrate Pullman’s railroad heritage.
THANK YOU!
A special thank you to the owners of the Heros N Sports building, Stephen and Karen Swoope, for their incredible support and generous contribution to this restoration project!
